In 2020, the crisis of a global pandemic and the subsequent foregrounding of ongoing injustice suffered by BIPOC communities created an inflection point for Silicon Valley firms to reckon with the many inequalities present in both the communities we serve and in our own professional practice.
These events created a wave of increased awareness and affected revolutionary actions throughout the world, our nation, and our community. We now ask: how can we ensure that this change is sustained?
A panel representing four firms of four scales will engage in a candid conversation about the challenges, innovation, and inspiration they have experienced as they work to expand their missions and practices to align more closely with the principles of Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion.
As our efforts continue into 2021, we call on Silicon Valley firms to join us in developing and sharing their approaches to advancing these goals.
Please join us to share and to learn together.
